Exhibition Displays in Melbourne
Custom exhibition displays, graphics and activations
DSS creates custom exhibition displays for Melbourne trade shows, pop-ups and brand activations. Bring us your stand dimensions, event brief and artwork so we can plan the display around your space, message and visitor experience. Use our trade-show display checklist to prepare.
Our workshop brings together printed graphics, fabricated display elements, 3D-printed components and LED lighting. Custom interactive programming is also available for projects that need a visitor response or prize interaction. See our Velocity rewards prize carousel project.
Portable graphics can support a larger custom display, including:
- Flags
- Roll-up Banners
Choose a combination of large-format graphics, dimensional features and custom fabricated displays to suit the brief. Materials, transport and assembly requirements are considered alongside the design.
Tell us whether you need design, fabrication, printed graphics, lighting or installation support. We will review the project scope and event requirements before quoting.
Custom flags for exhibitions and events
Custom printed flags help identify your stand, entrance or activation area. Match the artwork to the rest of the display so visitors can recognise your brand across the space.
Discuss the flag dimensions, quantity, display hardware and whether it will be used indoors or outdoors. These details help define the production requirements.
Send your artwork or logo and any venue restrictions with your brief. View our custom flag printing service for the next step.
Flags can be quoted as individual items or as part of a coordinated exhibition display.
Portable roll-up banners for trade shows
Roll-up banners provide a portable way to present your message at trade shows, launches and reception areas. They can support a custom stand or be used for smaller events.
Keep the main message clear, use readable text and provide artwork at the intended size. Let us know the banner quantity, preferred dimensions and event date.
Explore our roll-up banner options, or include banners in your exhibition brief so the graphics can be planned together.
Our Work
AFL Grand Final activation: graphics, lighting and interaction
This Virgin Australia-branded activation shows how several display elements can work together in one visitor experience. DSS produced 3D-printed flags, display components and light posts, printed ground inlays and extensive LED lighting for the project.
We also coded the prize interaction in-house. The randomised allocation was configured with a limited number of jackpots and multiple smaller prizes. Bringing fabrication, graphics, lighting and programming together allowed the physical display and its interactive features to be planned as one build.

What to send for an exhibition display quote
- Event and venue: event date, location, access and bump-in/bump-out times.
- Display space: stand dimensions, layout, height limits and venue requirements.
- Brand assets: logo, artwork, key message and reference images.
- Build requirements: printed graphics, flags, dimensional features, lighting or interactive elements.
- Practical details: budget range, transport, assembly, installation and plans to reuse the display.
Size, materials, artwork preparation, lighting, programming and installation all affect the quote. DSS will review the brief, clarify the required scope and quote the proposed work.
